The Traxxas Slash is well-equipped for off-road combat . Long-travel suspension and oil-filled shock absorbers easily absorb bumps and undulations in challenging terrain. The unique chassis design provides enormous ground clearance, allowing you to drive where other cars struggle. The tires are designed with a special tread and made from advanced rubber compounds for maximum traction off-road, on concrete, and asphalt. The patented Revo-spec Torque Control slipper clutch ensures smooth operation, precise adjustment, and total traction control. The Bellcrank steering system guarantees complete precision and control.
Long Wheelbase Chassis. The Slash’s
long 13.2-inch wheelbaseprovides excellent stability while offering over 3.5 inches of ground clearance. The chassis includes drain holes and a channel for routing servo cables to the receiver. For track-based competition, the transponder mount is located under the front shock tower.
Adjustable Battery Holder.
The innovative battery holder accommodates both flat and “hump” NiMh batteries . The extended holder allows you to position the batteries forward or backward to fine-tune the front/rear balance. An optional battery holder kit is available for use with oversized batteries.
Integrated chassis shock absorbers.
Integrated underbody roll bars provide lateral body support during door-to-door racing. Solidly designed body mounts include reinforced pads to support the truck’s body during big jumps and high-speed runs.
Scaled Front and Rear Bumpers.
Designed for bumper-to-bumper combat, the scaled tube bumpers absorb brutal impacts while looking like a real race truck.
4-Amp USB-C Fast Charger.
Fast 4-amp charging is available virtually anywhere with the included 45-watt USB-C charger with iD® technology. The Traxxas iD system is the easiest and safest way to charge Traxxas batteries . The charger automatically recognizes the iD battery and optimizes charging settings the moment you connect it. No guesswork, just fast, reliable charging every time.

Waterproof Electronics.
The Slash is equipped with waterproof electronics for all-weather play. The sealed 2.4GHz receiver housing, waterproof XL-5 speed controller, and sealed steering servos ensure fun in almost any terrain.
Modified Titan 12T 550 drive motor.
The modified drive delivers powerful power, requires virtually no maintenance, and boasts a long service life. The Titan 12T 550 has an integrated cooling fan, which translates into higher speeds and longer runtime.
The drive is controlled by the XL-5 electronic speed controller. It features a useful three-mode thermal protection function and is equipped with high-current electrical connectors. The XL-5 controller alsofeatures a “ Training Mode ™” function, which allows you to reduce the drive unit’s power by 50 %. This is useful for beginners and anyone who wants to practice precision driving techniques. The XL-5 controller is, of course, waterproof, so “mud and snow are no longer an obstacle to outdoor fun.”

Precise control at 2.4 GHz. The TQ™ 2.4 GHz
radio systemeliminates the need for crystals to control the control channel. The transmitter’s ergonomic design is comfortable for everyone, and the reinforced internal antenna is damage-resistant.
High-Current Connectors.
Today’s drive batteries deliver such high currents that conventional electrical connectors are insufficient, creating bottlenecks that effectively prevent the drive from reaching its full power output. Traxxas’ new High-Current connectors open the door to unrestricted current flow and extract the full power from the drive packs.
Snap-in body assembly. The Slash’s
innovative snap-in bodyensures secure installation and quick and easy removal. No posts, no clips—simply drop the body onto the chassis and snap it into place for a secure fit. When it’s time to change the battery, press the tabs under the wheel arches and lift to access the chassis in seconds.
Progressive Shock Springs.
Race-tuned, progressive-rate springs absorb small bumps like a softer spring would, but as conditions get tough and jumps get bigger, the progressive-rate springs become progressively firmer as the suspension compresses. A durable, white powder-coated finish sets the Slash apart from the competition.
Slash Short Course Tires. Slash
tiresoffer excellent off-road traction and just the right amount of slippage on the road. Their authentic look and realistic performance enhance the racing experience. The tires are pre-mounted and glued to replica 2.2″ Short Course wheels .
